Dear Adoption
Community Member:
The
Utah Adoption Council (UAC) provides a
collaborative forum for the sharing of ideas,
perspectives, and understanding about adoption
issues. It also provides opportunities to serve
and
educate the community about adoption and to
actively advocate for responsive and responsible
adoption law and practice.
We
would like to invite you – a member of Utah’s
adoption community – to join UAC in our efforts
to
"promote a positive adoption experience
for all involved, by advocating for permanent,
stable and
nurturing families for children".
We welcome you to share the opportunity to "fulfill
this mission through
education and legislation
related to quality adoption". (UAC
Mission Statement)
There
are no special requirement or qualifications for
membership. Our current members include
adoptees,
birth parents, adoptive family members, and
professional providers of adoption related
services.
Please
contact Sharon Cottle 801-240-6500 or cottlese@ldsfamilyservices.org or Lance Rich 801-366-6077 or ldrich@woodcrapo.com
to find out more. Annual membership fees are
listed below.
Please
share this invitation with anyone else you know
who thinks and cares about adoption.
Respectfully,
Utah Adoption Council
Executive Committee
